CherryStudio

Use Cases

Suitable for users who do not write code and primarily use AI for chatting, translation, content generation, or knowledge base Q&A.

Configuration Steps

  1. Open Model Services: Start Cherry Studio, click “Settings” in the lower-left corner, and open “Model Services.”

  2. Add a Provider: Click “+ Add” at the bottom of the provider list.

  3. Select the Provider Type: Enter MaiToken as the name, select OpenAI as the provider type, and then click “Add.”

  4. Enable the Provider: Turn on the enable switch next to the newly created MaiToken provider.

  5. Enter the API Key: Paste your MaiToken Key into the API Key field.

  6. Enter the API Address: Enter https://api.maitoken.com/v1 . This field requires a Base URL, so do not append /chat/completions.

  7. Check the Connection: Click “Check” next to the API Key field. If the check fails, verify the API Key and API address before trying again. Do not repeatedly click the button.

  8. Add a Model: Open “Model Management,” click “+ Add,” and enter <Model ID> in the Model ID field. We recommend setting the display name to MaiToken - Model ID.

  9. Start Using the Model: Return to the chat page, create a new conversation, and select a model under the MaiToken provider in the model selector.

Field Value
Provider Name MaiToken
Provider Type OpenAI
API Key <your MaiToken Key>
API Address https://api.maitoken.com/v1
Model ID <Model ID>

Test the Configuration

  1. Test a Basic Conversation: Enter “Reply with OK only” in the chat box. If you receive a valid response, the API Key, API address, and Model ID are configured correctly.

  2. Test Context Understanding: Enter “Summarize the three configuration parameters I provided in this conversation. Do not make up any information.”

  3. Test Agent Capabilities: Ask the model to create a file named test-maitoken.txt and write hello into it. Confirm that the file was created successfully. Do not use a real production project for testing.
